Since Whirlbathe started the hydrotherapy bathtub conversion industry 30 years ago, hundreds of people have come and gone trying to cash in on our whirlpool tub conversions. They use parts that are designed only for new bathtubs. Also, they use all flexible pipes connected in series that can stretch, dip and droop allowing dirty water to remain in the pipes after the tub is drained.

Due to the tight constraints and limited access to an already installed tub, we knew that standard whirlpool parts could not be installed like they are on a new tub. Other convert a tub systems generally would not meet national codes on water left in the pipes when the tub is drained. Whirlbathe totally designed a rigid parallel piping system for a whirlpool tub retrofit that could actually meet the national codes. Series piping allows the water pressure in the rubber hose to drop as you go down the line. Parallel piping allows all of the jets to have the same pressure and also enables the rigid pipes to angle downhill, eliminating the dips and droops where dirty water can collect in the system after the tub is drained.

Whirlbathe's whirlpool conversion system has high flow jets that have about twice the water and air flow of a standard jet and the ability to adjust the power level of the jets. Competitors use standard flow jets and flexible rubber hose, and usually their system does not allow you to adjust the power level of the jets.
